As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, the Ram Mandir ayodhya issue in Ayodhya UP, India, had seen significant developments. The construction of the Ram Mandir (Temple) was underway at the site where the Babri Masjid stood before it was demolished in 1992.
The Supreme Court of India, in November 2019, had delivered a historic judgment, giving the disputed land to the Hindus for the construction of a Ram Mandir ayodhya and providing an alternate five-acre plot to the Muslims for the construction of a mosque.

The court granted the entire 2.77 acres of the disputed land to the Hindus and directed the government to provide an alternative five-acre plot to the Muslim community for the construction of a mosque.
- Formation of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust: Following the Supreme Court verdict, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was established to supervise the construction of.
- Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony (2020): a grand ceremony was held by various dignitaries, including the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on August 5, 2020
- Construction Progress: Since the foundation stone laying ceremony, the construction of the Ram Mandir has been underway. The temple is expected to be a grand structure and a symbol of cultural and religious significance for the Hindu community.
